Advanced Courses Instructor

Captain Cathleen Burns Mauro is a graduate of the State University of N.Y. Maritime College.  She has a B.S. in Meteorology and is an Unlimited USCG Master.  Captain Mauro spent fifteen years at sea before joining Mid-Atlantic’s instructional staff.  Her maritime experience ranges from commercial cargo ships to government vessels, and she instructs in a variety of advanced operational and management level courses including Meteorology, Celestial Navigation and Ship Business.
