Director of International Development

Thomas recently joined MAMA after completing ten years of service as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy.  His last three years were spent in Japan onboard USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) as part of DESRON 15 and onboard USS Curtis Wilbur (DDG 54) as a Department Head.  He also served a six month tour in Afghanistan in 2006 with Task Force Paladin.  Previous ship tours included an engineering officer tour onboard USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44) and a deck officer tour onboard USS Laboon (DDG 58).

Thomas was born in Greifswald, Germany.  He has a 2003 MBA in Logistics & Transportation from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Ca. and a 1997 BS in Aerospace Engineering (Astro Track) from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.  His hobbies include triathlons and rowing.
